The Executive Office of Environmental Affairs was established by St 1974, c 806 to carry out the environmental policies of Massachusetts. The office, whose functions are described in MGLA c 21A, is under the supervision of an appointed secretary, and consists in its principal units of the Dept. of Environmental Protection (formerly Environmental Quality Engineering), Dept. of Environmental Management, Dept. of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Environmental Law Enforcement (formerly Fisherie...
